Your Role:

At Elanco, Marketing is crucial for growth and achieving our mission to enrich lives through food and companionship. Our passionate marketers build our brand portfolio, leveraging market insights and acting as a bridge between customers, stakeholders, and products. Your Responsibilities:

This role drives marketing strategy implementation for parasiticides and insecticides within the US Beef Marketing team. Collaboration with the broader Ruminant marketing team and Central marketing teams is essential.

Business Ownership:

  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with brand plan guidelines and customer objectives.
  • Manage budgets, create forecasts, and participate in the S&OP process.
  • Ensure marketing compliance and actively transfer knowledge to commercial teams.

Strategy Execution:

  • Execute strategies/brand plans developed by the Species Marketing Leader.
  • Implement local portfolio strategy with Sales, providing pricing, profitability, and promotional guidance.
  • Track KPIs and metrics, sharing learnings and feedback with the Commercial Business Team (CBT).

Brand Development:

  • Ensure accurate execution of brand plans, positioning, and playbooks within the US Beef market.

Insights & Analytics:

  • Gather and channel customer interaction data, local database insights, and competitive information to the Species Marketing Leader and Central Brand Lead.
  • Participate in/facilitate relevant local market research.

Marketing Execution:

  • Execute brand implementation plans, marketing mix decisions, media planning, and agency management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on guidelines, regulations, access issues, sales cycle processes, and sales force alignment/education.
  • Execute local Key Opinion Leader (KOL) programs and product launches.
  • Manage and oversee product agreements with customers.

Trade Marketing Initiatives:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing programs targeting vet KAM dealers, tractor suppliers/fleets. Collaborate with the channel team as ONE ELANCO approach
  • Work with the channel team to implement the optimal communication mix across these channels.
  • Enable and support the channel marketing execution team with merchandising strategies and materials.

Management & Cultural:

  • Build strong relationships with the Central Branding Team, US commercial management, and the Species Lead.
  • Demonstrate leadership, inspiring and aligning the organization with strong communication and executive presence.
  • Respect and leverage diversity.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Marketing/Business preferred).
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing, preferably in animal health or agriculture.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. (Elanco does not anticipate providing visa sponsorship for this position.)

  • Proven abilities in communication, conflict resolution, judgment, and managing complexity.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience with project management tools.

  • Travel: Up to 30% (Passport required)
  • Location: Headquarters - Greenfield, IN (Hybrid)
