Job description:
We are looking for a marketer that is curious, proactive, and a critical thinker to help take Absolut Vodka to new heights in the hearts and minds of Belgian and Dutch consumers.
Under the direction of the Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager will play a key role in the achievement and growth of the brand. This role focuses on aiding in the development of brand planning and developing and executing brand activities that are consumer centric.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Campaign development & execution - In partnership with the brand manager, lead agency briefs, coordination with sales team, ensure the plan is executed flawlessly and lead post-campaign analysis to optimize future activities.
- Material production – Brief to suppliers, samples checking and validation, follow up.
- Data-driven decision making - Analyze data, including sales performance, market research, and industry/category trends, to understand the state of the business and identify business insights that will unlock new opportunities.
- Stakeholder communication - Collaborate and communicate effectively, appropriately tailoring messages to the consumer, retailer, various cross-functional groups, and levels of management.
- Cross-functional project management - Engage various cross-functional teams such as trade marketing, digital, on-trade sales, and supply to drive execution of short- and long-term business initiatives.
- Extend brand Initiatives to the trade - Work in collaboration with on-trade team and clients to develop programs and tools that will help increase rotations.
- On-trade channel field visits and checks – Including festivals where the brand is present.
- Benchmark the market competition regarding communication & activations.
Student profile
- University cursus, preferable in Business or Commerce
- Marketing experience, preferable in FMCG or spirit industry is a plus
- High level of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Creativity to bring new ideas to life
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player and proactivity
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in Microsoft office
