As a Brand Financial Analyst on the Junk King team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Interact with franchisees on pre- and post-training activities.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business KPIs, identify trends, and explain variances between budgeted and actual performance.

  • Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and concise financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.

  • Payment Processing: Collaborate with the National Accounts Team to ensure accurate and timely payments to franchise owners.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to national account customers and resolve payment-related issues with franchisees.

  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement new financial analysis tools and models to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: One to three years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting.

  • Skills:

    • Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and identify key trends.

    • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication (both written and verbal) with diverse audiences, including executive leadership.

    • Detail-oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative.

    • Strong Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills.

    • Adaptability: Flexibility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    • Sense of humor.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business is required, finance or accounting preferred

  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Hybrid (3 days in the office), Irving TX
