Job Purpose:

The Residential & Landscape Contractor (RLC) division is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Brand Experience Manager to drive brand engagement, customer connection, and business growth through industry-leading events, experiential activations, product launches, and customer-facing experiences.

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of integrated brand experiences that strengthen brand awareness, increase customer confidence, support retail and channel partnerships, and generate measurable business impact.

You will oversee a diverse portfolio of trade shows, customer events, dealer experiences, retail activations, product launches, and experiential marketing programs that bring the Toro brand to life across multiple touchpoints.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with exceptional project management skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for creating memorable customer experiences. This role requires collaboration across marketing, sales, retail, channel partners, product management, agencies, vendors, and executive stakeholders to deliver best-in-class experiences that strengthen Toro's market leadership.

What Will You Do?  

Brand Experience & Event Leadership

  • Champion Toro's brand identity, mission, and values across all customer, dealer, retail, and industry-facing experiences.
  • Lead the planning and execution of 25+ annual events, trade shows, customer experiences, dealer meetings, internal events, and product launches.
  • Develop and execute experiential marketing programs that extend beyond traditional trade shows to create meaningful customer engagement and brand differentiation.
  • Ensure all events, activations, and experiences align with business objectives, including brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, retail support, channel engagement, and sales enablement.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to elevate the customer experience, increase brand impact, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary project lead for all assigned events and activations from strategy through execution and post-event assessment.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Manage all aspects of event coordination, logistics, planning, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and event deliverables.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with venues, agencies, vendors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate attendee management, registrations, travel logistics, hospitality, catering, and event communications.
  • Oversee product placement, transportation, booth assets, exhibits, displays, and experiential elements.
  • Manage event staffing requirements, including external support personnel and agency resources.
  • Lead onsite event execution, issue resolution, setup, teardown, and overall event operations.
  • Conduct final event inspections to ensure all experiences meet Toro brand and quality standards.

Product Launches & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with marketing, product management, and sales teams to support new product introductions through impactful customer-facing experiences and events.
  • Develop engagement strategies that help customers experience Toro products firsthand and build confidence in purchasing decisions.
  • Create memorable touchpoints that strengthen relationships with dealers, channel partners, customers, and industry influencers.
  • Ensure event and activation strategies support broader business growth initiatives and annual commercial objectives.

Experiential Talent Activation

  • Collaborate with teams responsible for influencer, creator, and brand ambassador programs to incorporate talent into key customer experiences, product launches, retail activations, and events when appropriate.
  • Coordinate talent participation and onsite experience execution to enhance attendee engagement and event impact.
  • Ensure all talent involvement aligns with event objectives, target audiences, and brand standards.

Budget Management & Performance Measurement

  • Manage event and activation budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and achievement of business objectives.
  • Track project timelines, expenditures, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Measure and evaluate event performance against established KPIs, including attendee engagement, lead generation, retail support objectives, customer feedback, and overall business impact.
  • Prepare post-event recaps, insights, and recommendations to continuously improve future programs.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Build strong relationships across marketing, sales, retail, product management, channel, and leadership teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies, vendors, event partners, venues, and support resources.
  • Communicate project status, recommendations, results, and opportunities with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all external partners deliver against expectations related to quality, service, timelines, and budget.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support strategic marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experiences, and increase marketing effectiveness.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing events, experiential marketing programs, activations, or customer engagement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing event budgets, timelines, vendors, and agencies.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to support events and activations.

Preferred

  • Experience in an corporate or enterprise environment, outdoor power equipment, durable goods, consumer products, retail, or related industries.
  • Experience managing large-scale trade shows, customer events, dealer programs, or experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Experience measuring event ROI and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with event technology, registration platforms, and marketing analytics tools.

  • Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between ​$90,000-$100,000 ​. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
