Your role at Clorox:
The Brand Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of integrated marketing plans that drive consumer engagement and business growth across our core portfolio (Cleaning, Glad and Brita). This role is responsible for orchestrating the One Demand Planning Process across strategy, execution, and optimization phases, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and excellence in delivery.In this role, you will:
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of media, content, commerce, and analytics, and will collaborate closely with Studio teams, Brand Engagement Subject Matter Experts, and agency partners to deliver best-in-class marketing experiences.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for consumer-centric marketing, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The Brand Engagement Manager will also play a key role in knowledge sharing, process improvement, and Marketing capability building across the Canadian Business Unit.
In this role, you will be expected to lead with curiosity and creativity, identifying new ways to connect with consumers across the full marketing funnel. You will be responsible for ensuring that all brand engagement activities are insight-driven, measurable, and aligned with Clorox’s broader business goals. Your ability to translate consumer data into actionable strategies will be critical in shaping how our brands show up in the market and resonate with target audiences.
As a key integrator across internal teams and external agency partners, you will help foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence by managing timelines, facilitating cross-functional communication, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives are executed with precision and agility. Integrated Planning and Strategy
- Lead the One Demand Planning Process for core businesses (Cleaning, Glad and Brita), ensuring strategic alignment and seamless integration across media, content, and commerce
- Develop and drive adoption of new processes to enhance integration, efficiency and speed throughout planning, execution and optimization
- Act as a key integrator between Studio teams, U.S. Brand Engagement SMEs, Brand teams, and external agencies to build and execute comprehensive integrated marketing plans
- Facilitate collaboration to ensure cohesive and effective execution of marketing plans. Manage master timelines, lead integrated agency meetings, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
- Drive adoption of planning frameworks and continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and speed
Media Planning and Optimization
- Partner with brand managers and media agency to develop and execute full-funnel media strategies across national and retail channels, including digital, social, programmatic, and traditional media
- Oversee campaign planning, flighting, and budget allocation
- Monitor media performance and lead optimization efforts through data-driven insights, and real-time adjustments to maximize ROI
Execution and Performance Management
- Oversee the flawless execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards and timelines
- Partner with analytics team to evaluate campaign effectiveness, generate insights, and apply learnings to future planning cycles
- Support the development of reporting frameworks and dashboards to track KPIs and performance metrics
- Champion a culture of learning by coordinating training sessions, sharing best practices, and fostering testing and innovation across the Brand Engagement teams
Media and Creative Agency Management
- Support agency relationship management, ensuring scopes of work align with planning and execution needs
- Provide feedback and contribute to agency performance evaluations

- 5-10 years experience with proven related experience in any Brand Engagement related disciplines: Media, PR, Social, NSM/Shopper, Digital, Analytics strategy, etc
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Demonstrated skills in any and multiple Brand Engagement Disciplines: Media, PR, Social, NSM/Shopper, Digital, Analytics strategy, etc
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies
- Commercial awareness and strategic mindset
- Effectively presents ideas or solutions internally/externally. Possesses ability to command attention and manage group dynamics through effective communication
- Experience Driving strategic thinking across the brand’s entire consumer experience, based on deep understanding of digital insights and analytics
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other communication disciplines, leading the execution of real-time marketing to drive consumer engagement
- Possesses creativity to balance strategic plans with tactical realities
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with the expertise and professionalism that will earn respect and trust with internal team members and external vendors
- Ability to manage challenging situations effectively. Maintain a sense of composure and credibility
- Hands-on style with experience to jump in as needed demonstrating leadership first hand and offering innovative solutions to complex problems
- Consumer obsessed and externally focused to stay on trends
