Brand Design Intern

At Aquablu we're disrupting the marketplace with a revolutionary (flavored) water system. Brought to life in 2018, our founders Marnix and Marc promised a healthy but tasty alternative to soft drinks. We're looking for a curious and driven Brand Design Intern to join our creative team. This is a hands-on role. You won't be making coffee and sitting on the sidelines. You'll be working on real briefs, real campaigns, and real output that goes out into the world.

Working alongside our Brand Designer and Art Director, you'll get exposure to the full creative process: from print and digital to events and brand activations. If you're studying design (or have the portfolio to prove you live it), love craft, and want to learn what it takes to build a brand from the inside, this is your chance.

• Support the design and production of print and digital assets: social content, presentations, brochures, event graphics, and more.

• Assist in rolling out campaign assets across channels, ensuring brand consistency throughout.

• Help maintain and apply brand guidelines across all touchpoints.

• Create supporting visuals: icons, illustrations, infographics, and design system components.

• Prepare files for print production and assist in briefing suppliers and printers.

• Contribute ideas in brainstorms and creative reviews, your perspective matters here.

• Use AI tools and emerging technologies to support creative workflows and asset creation.

• Learn how a fast-growing brand operates end-to-end, from brief to delivery.

• Currently studying Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Brand Design, or a related field.

• A portfolio (school projects, freelance work, personal work, all counts) that shows genuine design sensibility.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Photoshop.

• An eye for typography, layout, colour, and detail.

• A proactive attitude, you ask questions, take initiative, and follow things through.

• Good communication skills and the ability to take and act on feedback.

• Some experience with motion graphics, video, or animation.

• Familiarity with Figma or digital-first design thinking.

• An interest in AI-powered design tools and emerging creative technologies.

This isn't a tick-box internship. You'll work directly with our Art Director and Brand Designer on live projects, build a real body of work for your portfolio, and get a genuine feel for what scaling a global brand looks like from the inside.
