About the role:

1. Purpose of the Role

The BC&I coordinator supports the execution of innovation, brand change, liquid and packaging projects in the local market. The role acts as a key coordinator between Global BC&I, Marketing, Supply Chain, Governance and local teams, ensuring project activities, timelines, documentation and commercialization requirements are completed accurately and on time.

The position provides visibility of the innovation pipeline, supports project governance and helps identify risks or gaps early, enabling successful project execution in line with global standards and local market requirements.

2. Market Context

The role operates within the Latin American environment, supporting the implementation of regional, global and local innovation initiatives across markets with varying levels of complexity.

Working under the guidance of the BC&I Lead/Head, the Analyst ensures project information is maintained, stakeholders are aligned, and commercialization activities are tracked through the innovation process. The role contributes to delivering launches on time while supporting compliance with local regulatory and operational requirements.

3. Decision Making

Project tracking and reporting

Maintains project status updates and recommends follow-up actions when risks or delays are identified.

Advances risks, delays and priority conflicts to the BC&I Lead/Head.

Commercialization readiness

Reviews project breakthroughs and highlights readiness gaps.

Works with functional teams; final decisions remain with BC&I Lead/Head and project stakeholders.

Documentation and governance

Ensures required project documentation is complete and aligned with process requirements.

Advances missing approvals, compliance concerns or gaps to responsible teams.

Process improvement

Identifies opportunities to improve project tracking, reporting and coordination processes.

Recommends improvements to BC&I Lead/Head for implementation.

4. Functional Responsibilities

  • Supports the management and tracking of the local innovation and brand change pipeline.
  • Coordinates project timelines, breakthroughs and interested party alignment across functions.
  • Maintains project data, dashboards and reporting tools to ensure visibility of pipeline progress.
  • Supports the rollout of regional and global innovation projects into local markets.
  • Assists in the commercialization process for liquid and packaging changes, ensuring key activities are completed according to agreed timelines.
  • Coordinates the collection and validation of information required for regulatory, compliance and operational reviews.
  • Identifies project risks, dependencies and potential delays, advancing issues as appropriate.
  • Facilitates communication between local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
  • Supports post-launch reviews and the collection of lessons learned.

5. Key Outputs / Deliverables

  • Accurate innovation and brand change pipeline tracking and reporting.
  • Project timelines, status updates and risk logs.
  • Commercialization readiness reports and breakthrough tracking.
  • Project documentation and governance records.
  • Launch coordination support and post-launch review inputs.
  • Team member meeting materials, action logs and follow-up tracking.

7. Experience and Required Qualifications

Suggested (to be confirmed by HR / Market):

  • 2–4 years of experience in innovation, project management, supply chain, packaging, product development, commercialization or related FMCG functions.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project-tracking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage project data, timelines and reports.
  • Good communication and interested party management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and project management tools is desirable.
  • Experience in FMCG, beverages or consumer goods industries is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of stage-gate or innovation management processes is an advantage.
