We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing and Communications team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


The Brand and Social Specialist will implement and elevate Marsh’s Pacific organic social media strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and other Marsh-owned channels. Reporting to the Brand and Communications Leader, Pacific (with a dotted line to the enterprise Social Media Centre of Excellence), this hands-on role will drive content development, employee advocacy, community engagement, governance and reporting to support commercial and strategic objectives across the Pacific region.


We will count on you to:

  • Implement the Pacific organic social media strategy across LinkedIn and other relevant owned channels (excluding paid media), ensuring content is tailored to AU/NZ audiences and aligned to brand and business priorities.
  • Own the LinkedIn content strategy and calendar, planning themes, series and campaigns that support thought leadership, client-facing storytelling and colleague engagement.
  • Produce, edit and publish high-quality content for LinkedIn and other channels (posts, long-form articles, scripts for native video, image/carousel concepts), and localise/re-purpose global and regional assets for cultural relevance.
  • Roll out and run the employee advocacy program in Pacific, including toolkits, playbooks, training and prompts to increase colleague participation and engagement
  • Monitor and engage with the LinkedIn community in line with governance guidelines and SLAs, responding or escalating as required and proactively identifying engagement opportunities and thought leaders.
  • Track performance and deliver regular reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders, maintaining dashboards and contributing Pacific results into enterprise reporting cycles in coordination with the Centre of Excellence.

What you need to have:

  • Approximately 3–4+ years’ experience in social media, digital communications or related roles, ideally within professional services or a large matrixed organisation.
  • Demonstrable expertise in LinkedIn organic strategy, content development and growth tactics, with strong short-form copywriting, editing and storytelling skills for professional audiences.
  • Experience delivering LinkedIn-first organic campaigns and/or employee advocacy initiatives, including use of social publishing and analytics tools to report on performance.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions in a matrixed environment, partnering with stakeholders across Communications, Brand, Marketing, HR, Legal and global teams.
