About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded Brand and Communications Manager to join our Central Marketing team at Philips China. In this role you will be instrumental in developing and executing brand strategies that strengthen Philips’ reputation in China and drive meaningful engagement with key local stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines a solid foundation in brand management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advancing Philips’ purpose as a beloved brand in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and governance of Philips China’s brand voice, core messaging framework, and expression standards. Collaborate closely with global and local teams to strengthen brand favorability, credibility, and long‑term trust among key audiences.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate brands & comms campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media and events, to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, extract actionable market and audience insights, and optimize brand expressions and campaigns strategies on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee Philips China Brand & Content Center of Excellence (tools, templates, training) to uplift content quality and enable brand consistency across the organization.
- Own Philips China corporate social media expression: define content strategy, manage editorial calendar, set tone of voice and publishing cadence.
- Introduce and implement new methods and best practices in communications and brand management to drive innovations and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (including agencies) to influence outcomes and drive cross-functional alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in brand management, corporate marketing or integrated communications roles; healthcare industry experience is preferred, and proven experience in corporate brand governance or content excellence system is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated track record of stakeholder engagement, cross-team collaboration and external agency overall coordination and management
- Solid data analysis competency, capable of interpreting brand and campaign performance metrics to support data-driven strategic decisions and optimization
- Demonstrated interest in and working knowledge of how AI reshapes content production and brand building. Able to translate AI capabilities into concrete brand and communications opportunities.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a continuous improvement orientation.
