The role works with Royal Canin Korea Brand Activation Team (Brand Marketing) based in Seoul.

This role will be a creative architect in the ‘Korean pet owner journey.’ It is expected to design their journey based on Pet Owner insights, deliver the right creatives at the right moment, and improve through data analysis. This role is expected to be responsible for the Korean market only, and close collaboration with the global and regional teams is required.

Collaboration will be integral to this role; excellent interpersonal skills and storytelling with data are a must. The role must orchestrate brand communication based on cross-functional relationships with other departments and external agencies including: Pet Owner Experience team (CRM Team), Sales team, Corporate Affairs, Finance, External Media agencies, Content Agencies, Research Agencies.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum. 10 years of brand management experience, preferably in global FMCG
  • Extensive brand management (strategy and activation) experience, preferably in companies with a D2C/ CRM business model
  • University graduate or above
  • Turning complex data into insights and strategy
  • Strong leader who has the potential to grow within
  • Effective written or verbal communication in English at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in an international environment 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop brand strategy & marketing priorities in collaboration with local, regional, and global teams
  • Oversees media, content strategy, and execution
  • Orchestrate & align yearly marketing activation plan across demand teams (Pet Professionals, Pet Specialty Retail & Omni-Channel, Brand & Pet Owner)
  • Closely collaborate with the Pet Owner Experience team in providing super-premium brand experience to pet owners
  • Plan and manage marketing investment (A&P)
  • Track brand health performance, gather & analyze category, competitor, and pet owner insights
  • Continuous improvement of the marketing operation model to be locally relevant yet efficient
  • Develop direct report(s)
