Who will you be working with?
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be working closely with sales and field service team in local office, and project team in our Sisco. You are responsible for brakes, ranging from sales and business development, project management, engineering support and coordination for Hyundai Rotem.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of OE Sales team, you will be responsible for project sales of brakes to customers. You will need to liaise with our Sisco to ensure the products suit the project requirement, communicate with customers on technical issue, maintain and develop customer relationship.
What will your typical day look like?
Responsible for all rounds sales for brakes business;
Oversee local project initiatives, ensure alignment with company goals;
Identify business development opportunities to achieve company’s sales target;
Promote Faiveley Transport’s full range engineering solution, both service and products, to the designated product line;
Define engineering requirement based on customer request and provide technical coordination with HQ and SisCos in Europe
Support local customer for application of products of Brake System, Air Generation & Dryer, Actuator and Pneumatic Valves;
Participate in customer quality issues and communicate with manufacturing site to manage customer complaint;
Work closely with customer’s engineering, design, maintenance, project management and procurement team for explore new business opportunities;
Act as the primary liaison between customers and our SisCo in Shanghai and Europe to facilitate technical coordination;
Update databases and support payment collection;
Understand customers’ needs through regular meeting with customers;
Occasional business travel may be required.
Key Technical Responsibilities
Define brake system functions at the train level and lead engineering studies to achieve required performance;
Prepare technical proposals and system documentation, including requirements specifications and schematics;
Define and perform commissioning tests for brake systems;
Conduct functional and software verification testing;
Perform system-level Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA);
Manage brake calculations in cooperation with the HQ engineering team;
Support final assembly and verify designs through static and dynamic tests.
What do we want to know about you?
Degree holder in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other discipline;
7-8 years of technical sales experience, preferably in rolling stock, building and construction, engineering or automotive industry;
Previous customer service or relationship management is advantageous;
Proficiency in both written and spoken Korean and English, experience in technical coordination using English is preferred;
Presentable to customers with confident communication skills and reflect
Able to work with cross-functional team to ensure customer satisfaction and project success;
Strong project management skills and the ability to adhere to defined project timelines;
Good team player, responsible, diplomatic, proactive and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
