Press Brake Operators
1st Shift
Quality Industries, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company located in Lavergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift.
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision setting up and operating Press Brake to bend, form and straighten metal stock to blueprint or specifications.
Duties and Functions:
- Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
- Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
- Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
- Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
- Blueprint reading
- Good math skills
- G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
- Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
- Epicor experience a plus.
Education:
- High School or Equivalent
- Technical School Experience a plus
