At BBH, Partnership is more than a form of ownership—it’s our approach to business and relationships. We know that supporting your professional and personal goals is the best way to help our clients and advance our business. We take that responsibility seriously. With a 200-year legacy and a shared passion for what’s next, this is the right place to build a fulfilling career.
We are seeking an ambitious, highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to support senior leadership and a dynamic innovation-focused team at Braid. This broad role will be working closely with senior leadership and across the business. It combines executive support with business operations, project coordination, research, financial and vendor administration, and process improvement.
This is not a traditional administrative position. You will certainly manage calendars, meetings, travel and logistics, but you will also help solve operational problems, coordinate important initiatives, improve how the company works, and take ownership of projects that may span finance, technology, sales, clients, vendors and company operations.
For someone early in their career, the role provides unusual exposure to how a fintech company is built and operated and offers the opportunity to grow into broader business operations, program management or Chief of Staff-type responsibilities over time
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and motivated to improve the way work gets done.
Key Responsibilities
- Own important operational activities and follow-ups across the company, helping ensure that commitments, decisions and projects move forward.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and logistics for senior leadership, including in-person and virtual meetings.
- Arrange travel and prepare meeting materials, presentations, agendas, and other supporting documents.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, vendors, and other contacts in a professional and responsive manner.
- Process team and consultant requests for security access, equipment, software, and services.
- Track budgets, invoices, vendors, registrations, subscriptions, and help maintain accurate operational records.
- Cooridinate vendor activities, including onboarding, contract preparation, invoice coordination, and communication with vendor contacts.
- Maintain organized company information, client materials, contact data, meeting notes, and knowledge base.
- Work across finance, strategy, risk, compliance, technology, and other functions to navigate company processes and get things done.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, research, reports, and other materials for leadership, client, sales, and internal discussions.
- Help coordinate company events, conferences, customer meetings, and initiatives, including registrations, communications, materials, and vendor logistics.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, documentation, and team efficiency.
- Take ownership of miscellaneous operational problems and special projects as the company grows.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- One to three years of experience in business operations, executive support, project coordination, cosulting or a related role.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Comfort working with data, budgets, reports, presentations, and process documentation.
- Interest in learning new technology and using tools, including AI, to make work more efficient.
- Positive, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in making processes more effective.
Nice to Have
- Experience with a CRM, event management platform, or other business operations system.
- Experience or interest in product development, innovation, AI, design, technology, or process improvement.
- Experience in a startup, fintech, financial services or another regulated industry.
Why This Role
This role is designed for someone who wants broad exposure early in their career rather than a narrowly defined job. You will work closely with Braid company leadership, see how decisions get made, and gain experience across many of the functions required to build and scale a fintech business.
As Braid grows, we expect the role to grow as well, with opportunities to take ownership of increasingly significant operational projects and processes.
