The Role
The Scoot Compliance Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily compliance operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and guiding the compliance team in maintaining regulatory and internal standards. This role acts as a liaison between team members and upper management, supports process improvements, and promotes a culture of integrity and accountability.
What You’ll Do:
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support compliance team members in day-to-day activities.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure team efficiency and balance.
- Maintain and meet performance expectation and partner relationship with Scoot Compliance Point of Contacts
- Compliance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of compliance checks and processes.
- Monitor adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Escalate potential risks or non-compliance issues as needed.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for operational improvements and suggest/implement changes.
- Work with stakeholders to streamline compliance procedures.
- Training & Development:
- Onboard new compliance team members and ensure ongoing training for the team.
- Keep the team updated on changes in regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the point of contact between the compliance team and other departments.
- Represent the team in meetings and relay important updates or concerns.
- Serve as the escalation point for concerns or violations.
What We Expect From You:
- Native to near-native English - spoken, written, and comprehension

- Must have a thorough understanding of the partner’s processes, tools, and metrics

- Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices or process enhancements that support the team achieving business objectives
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate across all organizational levels
