Job Description
This position exists to assist the Box Office Coordinator and Director of Performing Arts Center by providing customer service sales support and to assist with the marketing and sales efforts of the CLC Theatre in order to ensure the efficient and profitable running of the program.
Salary Range:
$20.68-25.85/hour, $43,180-53,975 annual
Minimum Qualifications
- Skill in data entry sufficient to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Skill in customer service sufficient to provide prompt and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence.
- Knowledge of word processing sufficient to use software to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents.
- Ability to calculate the prices of individual, multiple, or groups of items and collect payments, count money, and complete transactions for customers.
- Ability to move and/or transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualification
- Ability to operate computers and software sufficient to access patron and event records.
- Knowledge of office procedures, methods, and equipment sufficient to input and access information in computer systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word or similar programs.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of private information in compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
- Knowledge of the performing arts from an audience/consumer point of view.
- Excellent organization skills.
