Job Description

Position Summary

The main objective of this position will be to ensure quality packaging of all High West Distillery’s premium spirits and to maintain a swift and efficient pace. The position follows standard operating procedures and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. 

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision: Attends to the operation of assigned bottling equipment and tasks
• Rotates between all machine centers as necessary to cover for breaks and absences
• Maintains proper flow and efficiency of bottling equipment
• Safely and efficiently operate all pieces of equipment on bottling line to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner
• Must be able to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks
• Ability to keep work area clean and organized
• Demonstrates situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor
• Follows all safety procedures and guidelines. Identifies safety hazards and communicates to team members and leadership
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, ability to work with team members to achieve production goals
• Desire to continuously learn and improve
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have strong mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must read/write English at 8th grade level
• Must be punctual and arrive to work on time
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Works outdoors/indoors
• Works in warm/cold climates
• Works in high places
• Works on wet surfaces
• Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
• Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
• Must be able to move up to 55 lbs

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The salary range for this role is:

$15.22 - $21.90

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.  At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
