Manage secondary market trading on a trading venue and maintain reference data (financial / non-financial) or asset classes, including security master data and pricing data; assistance to market participants; managing special market situations; market surveillance activities; prospective and retrospective market monitoring on respective trading venues (making sure relevant regulation is applied)

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Real-time and ex-post markets supervision across Borsa Italiana markets, with a focus on derivatives.
- Market interventions, handling of input errors, supervision of after-hours trading and management of member firms' requests
- Prospective and retrospective monitoring of compliance with trading venue rules, as well as with applicable national and European regulation
- Management of surveillance alerts, investigations and reporting of suspicious transactions (STOR, AML) to the competent authorities
- Real-time and ex-post monitoring of liquidity provision obligations
- Contribution to the delivery of high-quality internal and external customer service in trading surveillance of the markets organized and managed by Borsa Italiana
- Development and maintenance of algorithms and tools for real-time monitoring and retrospective surveillance
- Contribution to the design and testing of AI-based tools supporting identification and anlysis of suspicious trading patterns and the automation of routine surveillance tasks
- Work is performed in an office environment and may require extended working hours
Your Profile
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with AI/machine learning applications and technologies
- Operational understanding of trading venue rulebooks and market microstructure, and sound knowledge of European regulation (MiFID II, MiFIR, MAR) will be considered a plus
