Job Title: Boomi Middleware Developer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $120,000–$135,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Boomi Middleware Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere platform. In this role you will own the full integration lifecycle — from analysis and design through development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support — and will partner with application teams, enterprise architects, and integration partners. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on Boomi expertise with broad knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API management, and event-driven architectures. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of integration experience with strong focus on Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
- Hands-on experience with Boomi processes, connectors, and Atom/Molecule runtimes.
- Solid scripting skills (Groovy, JavaScript) for Boomi customization.
- Working knowledge of Boomi API Management.
- Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, certificate-based).
- Familiarity with event-driven integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, or similar SaaS platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling for Boomi.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Boomi Professional or Architect certifications.
- Exposure to Boomi Flow and Boomi DataHub.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant integration patterns.
- Experience with related platforms (MuleSoft, OIC, SAP CPI).
- Working knowledge of FinOps and integration cost management.
