Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage daily expenses, including daily sales entries.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), with an AP-focused workload.
- Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices.
- Utilize accounting tools including QuickBooks (QBO), Ramp, MS 365, and POS systems (e.g., Aloha).
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and timely updates.
- Keep accounting software up to date and accurate.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP-focused is a plus).
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred (experience is great but not strictly required).
- Familiarity with Ramp, MS 365 tools, and POS systems (Aloha preferred) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a self-starter.
- Excellent communication skills;
- Graveyard shift experience is nice to have, but not required.
