We're looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our onsite team in Irvine, CA! Last year alone, our team helped clients resolve over $34 million in tax debt — and our accounting team plays a direct role in making that relief possible. In this role, you'll be trusted to keep the numbers accurate, the clients informed, and the process running smoothly!

What You'll Do
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce clean, error-free accounting reports and present findings to management
- Analyze financial statements and summarize results in clear terms
- Identify errors, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures
- Review client documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Advise clients on potential liabilities and risk areas
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
- Deliver a consistent, high standard of client service
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus not a must
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting and/or tax resolution
- Working knowledge of tax law and GAAP
- Experience with Logics and/or Salesforce, plus QuickBooks or similar
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Work Setup
- 75,000–$83,000 base, with uncapped commission opportunities bringing average total earnings to $95,000+
- Fully onsite in Irvine, CA

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, a CPA firm, and/or a tax resolution office
- Working knowledge of GAAP and applicable federal and state tax laws, regulations, and filing deadlines
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard office technology (including RingCentral or similar platforms)
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical tax and accounting concepts clearly
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with stakeholders and clients
- Demonstrated commitment to staying current with changes in tax law and accounting standards
- Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills (empathy, self-awareness, emotional regulation)
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly
- High professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality
- Solid understanding of IRS tax procedures, return processing, personal and business compliance, and identity theft issues
