Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to manage our financial records using QuickBooks Online and Desktop. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial data is up to date, accessible, and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Record and categorize expenses, income, and other financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare financial documentation for audits and tax filings
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with integrity
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop is required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with payroll processing and tax reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Certification in QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
