Position Overview

Bonneville Phoenix internships are semester-long opportunities for college students to gain a fuller understanding of the broadcast industry and expand their skill sets.  This internship is in our video department.

Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

  • This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Phoenix site.

What You Will Do:

  • Purpose is to learn video and audio content creation with an emphasis on social media accounts for KTAR News and Arizona Sports by experiencing it first-hand.  The intern will work closely with editors, reporters, producers, hosts and other members of the multimedia department. The intern will also learn to edit longform content for use on social media platforms.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be currently registered as a college/university student, eligible to receive internship credit through their educational institution.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Video experience preferred.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite specifically Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.
  • Experience using DSLR cameras for photography/videography preferred.
  • Experience in posting on social media (YouTube, X, Meta and TikTok) preferred.
  • Schedule is between 15 and 25 hours per week depending on school requirements.
  • No guarantee of employment upon completion of internship

Physical Demands

  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Compensation Range

 $14.70 per hour.
