BOM Site Lead

About the role:

This role manages BOM operations, drives cost-saving initiatives, and maintains strong supplier relationships. It oversees procurement activities to ensure compliance with control plans and procedures, while effectively managing risks to support smooth and efficient operations.
 

What you will do:

• Liaise with suppliers and user department for routine and ad-hoc procurement projects to secure the best TCO  
• Enforce the procurement policy and ensure all purchases are fully comply with the requirement
• Provide support in the Procurement operation area
• Payment term negotiation, contract and vendor performance management
• Assist to benchmark and formulate best-fit procurement vehicles to drive cost savings and efficiency improvement
• Source of information, current trends and best practices in procurement area
• To maintain the master data of purchasing system
• To closely work with (internal) customer the requirement and source appropriate suppliers
• To measure and feedback on supplier performance
• To execute activities that drive KPIs including but not limited to cost savings, hands free purchasing, supplier performance, P2P, etc.

What you will need:

• At least 10 years of experience in the Purchasing Field.
• Knowledgeable with purchasing system 
• Diligent, eager to learn, detail oriented, efficient
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Experience in negotiations, pricing, general purchasing related products.
• Experience in managing external third parties.
• Understand manufacturing and quality assurance processes. 
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Knowledge in SAP (advantage)
• Excellent communication skills.  Fluent in written and verbal communication (English)
• Leadership
