Job Summary:
Boilermaker/Fitters must read blueprints, cut/thread/weld pipes, and perform hydrostatic tests to ensure leak-proof, code-compliant systems. The role requires strong safety awareness, mechanical skill, and the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Layout & Fabrication: Reading isometric drawings and blueprints to plan piping installations, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to exact specifications.
- Installation: Assembling, installing, and securing complex pipe systems, valves, and hangers in industrial, high-pressure environments.
- Welding & Joining: Utilizing MIG, TIG, or Stick welding, as well as specialized techniques for gas pipelines.
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshooting, maintaining, and replacing worn or damaged piping systems.
- Testing: Conducting pressure and leak tests to verify the integrity of the piping system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to industry safety standards (PPE, OSHA) in hazardous environments.

- Knowledge of overhead cranes and hand signals
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in safe rigging practices
- Must be able to adhere to standards and perform a quality job in a safe manner within an acceptable time.
- Physical requirements include Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, and reaching, standing for long periods of time, lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. May be required to work at heights up to 25 feet.
Education/Experience:
- 2-5 years relevant work experience
