Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee boiler operations including gauge checking system to prevent malfunctions
  • Conduct regular testing of pressure, chemical and water levels to ensure safe operation
  • Identify and fix issues promptly to ensure smooth production processes
  • Operate kiln to dry poles according to company specification
  • Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment
  • Operation of loader as needed
  • Works cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve all safety, quality and production goals set for the work environment.
  • Other work-related duties as required

Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Knowledge of boiler systems and mechanical components
  • Ability to monitor and read gages
  • Basic computer knowledge including applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Willing to be hands on with physical production
  • Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions (wet, hot, cold)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
