Job Responsibilities
- Oversee boiler operations including gauge checking system to prevent malfunctions
- Conduct regular testing of pressure, chemical and water levels to ensure safe operation
- Identify and fix issues promptly to ensure smooth production processes
- Operate kiln to dry poles according to company specification
- Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment
- Operation of loader as needed
- Works cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve all safety, quality and production goals set for the work environment.
- Other work-related duties as required
Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements
- Knowledge of boiler systems and mechanical components
- Ability to monitor and read gages
- Basic computer knowledge including applications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willing to be hands on with physical production
- Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions (wet, hot, cold)
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
