BOBST Operator

Job Purpose:

The Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of Bobst die cutting machines. You will be operating die cutting equipment to produce high-quality print and packaging products.

Job Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Coordinates with Machine Assistant on stacking process at finished end; halts machine and/or aids assistant as needed.
• Performs machine setup per factory card requirements.
• Set up and adjust the Bobst die cutter, including feeder settings, delivery components die lock-up and stripper.
• Safely operate the die cutter efficiently while maintaining quality standards throughout the production process
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Performs machine setup per factory card requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of cut materials, flagging and isolating defective products
• Maintain accurate production records, including waste, production time, and waiting time
• Follows all safety rules and regulations including Safe Operating Procedures and Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned
