Stewards of the Arts, INC. is looking for individuals who feel called to actively build, guide, and steward the mission at a foundational level to join the Board of Directors.
Primary Responsibilities3-year term
Attend monthly board meetings according to the annual meeting calendar.
Provide consistent governance, oversight, direction, and strategic counsel to support SOTA’s mission and operations.
Participate in special/emergency meetings for time-sensitive decisions or voting needs.
Make an annual Board Investment as a personal commitment to the mission. (This is about shared commitment and agreement with the work God is doing through SOTA.)
Serve as organizational ambassadors, supporting the mission internally and publicly.
Engage collaboratively with leadership to ensure healthy, Spirit-led organizational growth.
Uphold all fiduciary, ethical, and legal responsibilities of a governing board.
Currently, we are seeking individuals with expertise in the following areas:
Accounting/Finance
Legal
Grant Writing
Fundraising
Christian Education
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher
Pursue and maintain an intimate, authentic, surrendered relationship with Jesus Christ (Not religion. Not church culture. Genuine devotion and obedience to Him.)
Agree and align with SOTA’s Mission & Values
Demonstrate integrity, maturity, and a Spirit-led approach to leadership
Have experience relevant to nonprofit or organizational leadership
Attend and/or volunteer at SOTA programs and events when available
Be dependable, collaborative, and committed to unity and clarity within the organization
