•Pack BMS EIS Functions: Design and integrate pack-level BMS Experience Level: 9-12 years
Key Responsibilities:
•Next Generation BMS: Lead the development and implementation of next-generation Battery Management Systems (BMS) for advanced battery energy storage solutions.
•Pack BMS EIS Functions: Design and integrate pack-level BMS Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) functions to enhance safety and performance.
•Development Testing: Plan, conduct, and oversee the development testing of BMS, ensuring compliance with design specifications and performance standards.
•Characterization: Characterize BMS components and systems through rigorous testing to validate functionality and reliability.
•Electrical/BMS Integration: Ensure seamless integration of electrical components with BMS, optimizing for performance and safety.
•System Architecture: Develop and refine the system architecture for BMS, ensuring scalability and compatibility with various battery pack configurations.
•Firmware Development: Oversee the development and optimization of BMS firmware to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
•Diagnostics and Monitoring: Implement advanced diagnostics and monitoring features within the BMS to ensure real-time performance tracking and fault detection.
•Compliance and Standards: Ensure all BMS designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as UL, IEC, and ISO.
•Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for BMS designs, tests, and validation processes to support product development and certification.
•Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BMS performance and integration, maintaining optimal system operation.
•Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, thermal, and software engineers, to ensure cohesive system development.
•Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in BMS design, testing methodologies, and integration processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•Extensive experience in the development and integration of Battery Management Systems (BMS).
•Strong understanding of pack-level BMS Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) functions.
•Proficiency in BMS development testing and characterization methodologies.
•Experience with electrical/BMS integration in battery energy storage systems.
•Knowledge of system architecture and firmware development for BMS.
•Familiarity with diagnostics, monitoring, and fault detection features in BMS.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Proven track record of successful project management and delivery within the specified experience level.
•Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for BMS.
