The GMP Biomanufacturing Operator I is part of the GMP Manufacturing department located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite. You will be a part of the GMP Biomanufacturing Team and will be responsible for executing production events in a GMP manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Execute manufacturing processes such as transformations, cell banking, fermentation, lysis, chromatography, diafiltration, and final fill to support pDNA, mRNA, and protein product types. Practice aseptic techniques on a consistent basis to minimize contamination in all manufacturing areas.
Maintain a safety and quality-first mindset and adhere to good manufacturing practices by following appropriate gowning protocols, standard operating procedures, good documentation practices, and regulatory expectations.
Work as a team to improve and standardize manufacturing processes utilizing DBS tools and techniques leveraging continuous improvement, customer focus, and collaboration to drive impactful results every day.
The essential requirements of the job include:
H.S. diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, and understand English. Good communication skills as needed for reporting, documentation, and scheduling.
Apply basic math (calculations, arithmetic, ratios, proportions, and conversions)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to use hands, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the position.
Ability to self-report mistakes or concerns to their manager
Schedule flexibility such as weekend work or extended/altered schedules may be required at times depending on production need.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working in a manufacturing or GMP biomanufacturing setting
Following standard operating procedures
