Blue Yonder Specialist (Merchandizing, Category Management, Space Planning)
This position is onsite #LI-Onsite
Are you experienced in supporting Blue Yonder software to optimize merchandising, category management, and space planning processes? Reporting to the Platform Owner, Business Platforms, you will ensure the effective implementation, configuration, and utilization of Blue Yonder solutions
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technology capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of Blue Yonder tools. The specialist will partner with merchandising, supply chain, and store operations teams to ensure technology capabilities align with business requirements.

About the Role
Blue Yonder System Implementation and Optimization
- Configure and implement Blue Yonder solutions for merchandising, category management, and space planning.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of Blue Yonder with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan Associates, MuleSoft, GK Software, Pega CDH,).
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure the software meets business requirements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows, configurations, and user guides.
Merchandising and Category Management Support
- Support merchandising and category management teams by configuring and maintaining Blue Yonder Category Management tools, ensuring data accuracy, system availability, and effective tool usage.
- Provide guidance on system capabilities, data interpretation, and best practices to help business users leverage Blue Yonder solutions effectively.
- Support merchandising teams with the development of category plans and strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate merchandising and category requirements into system configurations and enhancements.
Space Planning and Optimization
- Support Space Planning teams by configuring, maintaining, and supporting Blue Yonder Space Planning and Floor Planning tools, workflows, and integrations.
- Ensure space planning data, publishing processes, and system performance support downstream execution and store operations.
- Work with store operations teams to implement and monitor space planning initiatives.
- Partner with Space Planning and Store Operations teams to support tool adoption, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of system usage.
Training and Support
- Provide training and support to end-users on Blue Yonder tools and best practices.
- Act as the IT subject matter expert for Blue Yonder platforms, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Stay updated on Blue Yonder product updates and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technology adoption.
About You
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related experience
- 3+ years of experience working with Blue Yonder solutions, specifically in merchandising, category management, and space planning.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing enterprise software solutions.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and category planning.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation projects.
- Certifications or Designations: Blue Yonder certification in Merchandising, Category Management, or Space Planning, and Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
- Proficiency in Blue Yonder Category Management (CatMan) software and related tools.
- Familiarity with external to Blue Yonder Integrations, preferably with MuleSoft.
- Familiarity with other enterprise software such as SAP, Manhattan Associates, and Microsoft tools.
- Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of Agile product methodologies.
