What are we solving for ?
We are solving for households in poverty who are also financially and socially vulnerable through a targeted, multi-faceted, and sequenced model called the graduation approach, which has demonstrated that we can durably pull households out of poverty.

Position Overview:
The/Nudge Institute is partnering with the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), Rural Development Department, Government of Tripura, to promote the adoption of the Graduation Approach (Economic Inclusion Program) for supporting extremely vulnerable households in achieving sustainable and dignified livelihoods. As part of this partnership, a State Project Management Unit (SPMU) has been established at TRLM, Agartala, to support the Government of Tripura in designing and implementing the Tripura - Samaveshi Aajeevika Yojana (TR-SAY) & Chief Minister's Nabadisha Abhijan (CM-NDA). This position will be based at the concerned blocks of Tripura, work closely with block officials of TRLM and will report to the Program Lead.
What will you do ?
- Own the implementation and outcomes of the program
- Provide leadership and managerial support to the field team, mainly to the Block professionals.
- Manage Block professionals to ensure quality implementation on the ground through regular meetings and field visits
- Develop process and system for onboarding and capacity building of Block professionals
- Develop process and system for regular monitoring and cont. feedback
- Work closely with The/Nudge’s financial unit to develop budgets and ensure timely and effective of such budget
- Work closely with the SRLM in developing the annual budget and preparing financial plans
- Support TRLM in the research and development of a strategy and program design to target the extremely vulnerable families through the graduation approach built on top of community institutions enabled by the DAY-NRLM
- Support TRLM in the implementation of action research of the graduation approach through a special project based on the strategy and design developed in consultation with key stakeholders
- Enable convergence of various state initiatives (social security, livelihood promotion, financial inclusion, social empowerment) and programs towards the end goal of graduating women and their households living in extreme poverty.
- Support TRLM to review the progress of the program periodically in order to iterate and scale
- Support the mission on the use of data and technology to ensure continuous flow of data from the field
- Build relationships with key government stakeholders in Tripura such that the special project is successful
- Build relationships with key government departments and support the successful adoption of strategies targeting the extremely vulnerable
