Job Description:
The Portfolio Management Senior Associate will work within the BXCI Chief Investment Office to manage all aspects of private & public credit investing for BXCI’s Multi-Asset Credit Platform, with a specific focus on BXCI’s multi-asset credit retail & private funds.
The main areas of responsibility include:

Portfolio Construction Research
-
Developing strategic asset allocation approach for multi-asset strategies subject to specific portfolio objectives and constraints
-
Assisting with research on tactical asset allocation factors and development of allocation signals

Asset Class Research
-
Conducting research across private & public credit markets, including collaborating with dedicated sector investment teams to maintain real-time views on asset class characteristics and performance drivers

Contributing to firm-wide asset class reviews and development of sector views

Portfolio Management
-
Partnering with asset class investment teams to implement strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions, including evaluating deployment opportunities in furtherance of overall portfolio objectives

Monitoring asset class valuations, market structure, and macro conditions to contribute to positioning recommendations
-
Assisting with management of fund liquidity, balance sheet positioning, and tracking of capital inflow / deployment pipeline

Developing and maintaining portfolio models, performance & risk analytics, and other relevant monitoring / reporting tools.

Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, have sound judgement and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical skills, the successful candidate should have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar discipline (CFA or CAIA a plus)

5+ years of relevant investment experience (cross-asset investing and / or asset allocation experience a plus)

Strong technical, analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills
-
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and keen attention to detail
-
A strong work ethic, professional integrity, and a positive attitude
-
Highly self-motivated and intelligent with the ability to work effectively in a team environment; proactive and takes initiative

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Expected annual base salary range:
$150,000 - $200,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
