The Biospecimen Associate will support daily Biospecimen Acquisition and Management (BAM) operations, including inventory, processing, distribution, storage, and shipment of biological samples, in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Perform daily BAM tasks following SOPs, documentation, and safety practices.
- Manage specimen inventory: labeling, receiving, storing, retrieving, and returning samples.
- Support internal and global sample requests, ensuring accurate chain of custody.
- Use LIMS and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with lab maintenance and process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree in biological sciences preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, work in cold environments, and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of inventory management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Google Suite.
