What You Will Achieve
The Bioprocess Technician IV leads the execution of Commercial, Clinical, and/or Development production according to Standard Operating Procedures and Production Schedule for mAb products . You will work on interdisciplinary teams, to own and implement process improvements, and lead/participate in process troubleshooting.

  • Complete assignments independently, selecting appropriate methods and ensuring team assignments are completed.
  • Review non-standard work for technical soundness and may review the work of others.
  • Adhere to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, influencing teams and contributing to the development of departmental standards and guidelines.
  • Leverage knowledge of process equipment, systems, manufacturing operations, and automation control to plan and execute activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, standard operating procedures, and global regulatory and environmental guidelines, adapting methods and procedures as necessary.


Qualifications
Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ years of experience
  • Experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, including knowledge and experience with relevant biopharmaceutical unit operations and/or laboratory operations
  • Understanding of continuous improvement processes
  • Proficiency in process equipment, systems, manufacturing operations, and automation control


Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Advanced knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Familiarity with global regulatory and environmental guidelines
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure


Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, requires the moving of heavy equipment and the ability to lift ~40 pounds.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel, or Environment Requirements

  • Work schedule is shift 3 on 2/2/3 schedule. Nightshift 6pm-6am

The salary for this position ranges from $25.37 to $42.29 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
