Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Specialist - Electrical to join our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for electrical systems in construction projects, ensuring efficient and accurate design implementation.

  • Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for electrical systems using software such as Revit and AutoCAD MEP
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical designs into overall building models
  • Analyze and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building components
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications
  • Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support to project teams
  • Continuously improve BIM processes and workflows for electrical systems
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in electrical design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in BIM for electrical systems
  • Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD MEP
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design principles and industry standards
  • Experience in electrical design and construction projects
  • Excellent 3D modeling and visualization skills
  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
