Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and update BIM models based on design documents.
- Ensure models adhere to project standards and naming conventions.
- Maintain organized and accurate models throughout all project phases.
- Support model coordination across multiple disciplines.
- Facilitate clash detection to identify potential design conflicts.
- Collaborate with Coordinators and Leads regarding routing conflicts or missing data.
- Execute revisions promptly based on markups, RFIs, and design changes.
- Support QA/QC efforts by reviewing assigned views and correcting inconsistencies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in BIM modeling or related field.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Drafting, Design, Construction, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in detailed annotation and drawing production
- Familiarity with Revit and BIM tools.
- Basic understanding of construction documents and design principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
