Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Coordinator to join our site-based construction supervision team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform reviews for CAD & BIM models provided by the Contractor or others to ensure all requirements are met and identify clashes, conflict and other issues.
Provide comments and chair workshops to present issues and work with all parties to achieve resolution, elevating issues as required for decisions.
To prepare reports (text and especially graphics) on all aspects of CAD engineering design, including site design, building design, streetscape, signage, landscaping and lighting.
To make presentations when required.
To work with engineering and planning staff on resolving design issues.
To review Contractor proposals and make comments as necessary.
To provide advice on elements of design.
To prepare Technical Scope of Work for projects carried out by the design engineers.
To perform any task in the related field assigned by the Senior Resident Engineer or Technical Manager
Prepare progress report relating to the BIM scope of work in relation to the contract schedule.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience.
Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.
Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.
