Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Coordinator to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assist the BIM Manager in implementing BIM strategies, execution plans, and ensuring compliance with BIM standards (i.e. ISO 19650 and Employers requirements).
Evaluate and manage BIM deliverables, including models, schedules, registers, and reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Conduct clash detection, identify conflicts, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
Provide technical support for BIM tools, workflows, and processes to project teams and stakeholders.
Facilitate coordination between project stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and integration of BIM deliverables.
Assist in maintaining the Common Data Environment (CDE) and collaboration platforms to ensure proper data management and accessibility.
Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss BIM-related issues and provide updates on progress.
Support project teams by providing training and guidance on BIM processes, tools, and standards.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
Professional certifications in BIM (i.e. Revit Certified Professional) are a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM coordination, with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure projects (i.e. railways, airports, buildings, utilities, etc.).
Proven track record of managing BIM workflows across multiple disciplines and throughout the project lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Revizto, ACC).
Strong knowledge of BIM standards, modelling principles, and data management practices.
Expertise in clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution.
In-depth understanding of construction workflows, design coordination, and engineering systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
