Job Description: Junior BIM Architect

As a part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented and motivated Junior BIM Architect to join our dynamic team in Pune.

Job Responsibilities:

• BIM Modeling: Develop and manage BIM models for architectural projects using Revit and other BIM software.
• Design Coordination: Assist in the coordination of architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations based on project requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior architects, project managers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Quality Control: Ensure all BIM models and drawings adhere to company standards and project specifications.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize BIM software to create and update 3D models, clash detection, and quantity takeoffs.
• Project Support: Provide support in various phases of project development, including design, documentation, and construction.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in BIM modeling and architectural design.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards, and best practices.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with parametric modeling and family creation in Revit.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Experience in coordinating with multiple disciplines on complex projects.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field is required.

Experience:

• 1-2 Years of Experience: Prior experience in BIM modeling and architectural design is preferred .

Software Skills:

• Revit Proficiency: Good skills in Revit for BIM modeling and design coordination. Beginner to Mid level. 
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Competence in AutoCAD for drafting and documentation. Beginner to Mid level. 
• Navisworks Knowledge: Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model review. Beginner to Mid level. 
• Other BIM Software: Familiarity with other BIM-related software tools. Beginner to Mid level. 

Technical Skills:

• BIM Principles: An understanding of BIM principles, standards, and best practices.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in creating and managing BIM models.  ( Optional ) 
• Parametric Modeling: Experience with parametric modeling and family creation in Revit is preferred. ( Optional ) 
• Building Codes Knowledge: Awareness of building codes and regulations. ( Optional ) 

Communication Skills:

• Verbal and Written: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Team Skills:

• Collaborative: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, supporting and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Time Management: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
