Job Description:Oversees the insurance billing operations for services at Essentia Health. This position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the collections of outstanding accounts receivable insurance balances as assigned. He/She will ensure compliance of all rules and regulations (including Federal, State, and the Essentia Health organization) to maintain a consistent cash flow in support of the financial goals of Essentia Health. The supervisor monitors key metrics and reports to ensure all activities are being completed by staff timely and accurately. He/She conducts quality and productivity reviews of staff members, and is also responsible for organizing, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure adequate coverage, as well as prompt responses to issues, concerns, and/or complaints.
Work Experience: Two years of leadership experience, preferably in healthcare.
Preferred: Experience with EPIC, Home Health, Skilled Nursing and/or Hospice Billing and pre-services.
Education Qualifications:
Associate's degree or at least 64 credits completed towards a Bachelor's degree.
Bachelor's degree must be completed within three years of hire or transfer.
