The Billing Specialist prepares invoices, verifies rates, maintains billing records, resolves discrepancies, and communicates with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and process invoices for loads delivered in the international market.
  • Verify rates, accessorial charges, and delivery documents (PODs, BOLs).
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
  • Review billing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on missing or incorrect documentation.
  • Communicate with dispatch, drivers, and customers regarding billing-related matters.
  • Track invoice status and support follow-ups related to billed loads.
  • Reconcile billing information between TMS and internal systems.
  • Prepare regular billing summaries and basic reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal billing procedures and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Basic accounting, numerical, and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience in trucking, transportation, or billing is considered a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with TMS, billing, or internal systems is considered a plus.
  • Working hours: 15:00 – 23:00 (US working hours)
