Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years Account Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position at a fast growing biotech company.
Applicant will be responsible for generating accurate invoices, maintaining customer and billing records, tracking and resolving customer related issues and generating weekly reports in a timely manner. Applicant will also assist the accounting team in other general accounting tasks and projects as needed. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient in Salesforce.
The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, be able to work independently and display the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator.
Qualifications
- Make daily collection calls
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Prepare and maintain various reports
- Maintain accurate billing records
- Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
- Create and send invoices to customers
- Send statement to outstanding customers
- Reconcile A/R to the G/L
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
- Interact with Sales and provide customer support as needed
