Overview

The Billing QC Specialist will assist our billing teams in quality control of our resident billing
process. Each property that is billed by a Billing Manager goes through a series of automated
quality control checks. Any flags that generate need to be reviewed by a Billing expert to verify
accuracy against provider bills, property and client documentation, regulations, and
department standards. The Billing QC Specialist is critical to ensuring that clients and residents
receive accurate billing every time.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Quality Control in multiple systems (Fusion, ABP, Yoda, Skywalker) against
    documentation from multiple sources (utility bills, client files, property notes, management
    notes, reminders, KB articles)
  • Analyze and approve/disapprove fusion setup, data entry, and resident utility billing daily
  • Review documentation from multiple sources across multiple systems
  • Provide detailed handback notes to team members to assist with correcting issues and
    identifying training opportunities
  • Track trends and root causes to identify areas for improvement and share with leadership
  • Identify errors in utility billing that may have occurred historically and communicate those errors
    to team members and leadership

  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Skilled in training and mentoring others to support performance and development

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years working in an office environment
