FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Television Stations is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Billing Operations Manager to join the Corporate Accounting hub. This role will support multiple stations across multiple television markets, supervising a team of Billing Operations Coordinators. This role partners with Sales, Operations, Traffic and Credit & Collections to ensure accurate and timely posting of incoming payments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and coach a team of Billing Operations Coordinators

Oversee the preparation and review of daily linear and digital log reconciliations to confirm accurate billing against scheduled programming

Manage the end-to-end billing cycle, including electronic billing through Wide Orbit and manual co-op billing

Ensure timely and accurate posting of incoming payments (checks, wires, ACH) to the correct accounts and invoices

Review and validate the log reconciliations, billing, and cash application, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly recorded

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required: Accounting or Finance preferred

5+ years of relevant job experience

Management experience preferred

Strong analytical skills and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with different departments, present findings, and explain complex accounting issues

Superior attention to detail and accuracy

Strong work ethic and team player attitude

Proficiency using the Wide Orbit billing system

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $85,000.00-105,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
