Job Summary**
The Billing Coordinator II plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for Primoris Energy Services projects in Independence, MO. This position involves processing invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting the overall financial operations of the division.
Job Responsibilities**
* Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
* Review and verify all billing-related documentation, including timesheets, expense reports, and purchase orders.
* Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
* Collaborate with project managers, accounting, and other departments to gather necessary billing information.
* Maintain accurate and organized billing records and documentation.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing.
* Process change orders and adjustments to invoices as required.
* Generate various billing reports for management review.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the billing department.
Job Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, preferably within the construction or energy services industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
