Job Summary**
The Billing Coordinator II plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for Primoris Energy Services projects. This position involves processing invoices, managing billing documentation, and supporting financial operations in our Hubbard, Texas office.
Job Responsibilities**
* Prepare and process complex invoices for various energy services projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
* Review and reconcile billing discrepancies with project managers, clients, and other internal departments.
* Maintain comprehensive billing records, including purchase orders, work orders, and supporting documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual billing reports and analyses.
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and resolutions.
* Collaborate with the accounting and project teams to ensure proper revenue recognition.
* Identify and implement process improvements within the billing department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Support accounts receivable activities, including collections and cash application as needed.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role, preferably within the construction or energy services industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
* Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint) is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
