Job Title: Billing and Authorisations Specialist

Location: South Africa

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote (US Hours: 9am-5pm EST)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing and AuthoCollaborate with clinical and arisations Specialist to join our team at ReWorks Solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing insurance billing processes and obtaining necessary authorisations to ensure uninterrupted client services. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and submit insurance billing claims accurately and timely.
  • Obtain and track insurance authorisations, ensuring renewals are completed before expiration.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and clients to resolve billing and authorisation issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all billing and authorisation activities within electronic health records and billing systems.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims and authorisation requests.
  • Assist in generating reports related to billing status and authorisations.
  • dministrative teams to streamline billing and authorisation workflows.

Requirements
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years in medical billing and insurance authorisations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance policies, and authorisation procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
