Are you a detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude and a passion for finance? Aiven has a fixed-term Billing and AR Specialist Trainee position available for someone with these qualities! The position is based in the Helsinki office with an expectation to visit the office at least 3 days a week. Join our dynamic team and gain valuable hands-on experience in billing and accounts receivable while contributing to our company's growth. The employment will start at the end of June 2025 and is fixed-term for 8 months. 

 As a Billing and AR Specialist Trainee, you will be responsible for tasks including:

• Processing and reconciling bank statements
• Responding to customer inquiries
• Implementing customer contracts into our billing system
• Supporting business in billing and payment related activities
• Participating in month-end closing activities

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

• Positive and can-do attitude
• Good team working skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer service skills
• Organization and time management
• Communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken English (Finnish is a plus, but not mandatory)
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)
• Basic accounting understanding
