Job SummaryMedical Biller responsible for accurate claim submission, reimbursement follow‑up and maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSubmit insurance claims; Follow up on unpaid/denied claims; Communicate with insurers, patients, providers; Maintain billing records and HIPAA compliance; Stay current on coding rules; Assist with patient billing inquiries and payment plans.
Minimum QualificationsExperience as a Medical Biller; Knowledge of billing processes, coding standards, insurance guidelines; Proficiency with billing software; Strong attention to detail; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Familiarity with HIPAA; Billing/coding certification preferred.
Physical RequirementsPrimarily seated at desk; Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs; Frequent interaction with patients, staff, and providers.
