This position is responsible for developing and providing consultation, risk assessment, program development, and training in both English and Spanish for Newfront clients. The position works directly with Newfront account executives and producers, insurance carriers, and clients to provide and coordinate risk control services across multiple disciplines including Workers’ Compensation, fleet management, property, general liability, emergency planning, and business continuity planning.
This position is a salaried, exempt and full-time role responsible for meeting on-site with clients in Central California. The position can be remote in Central California or work hybrid from Newfront’s Fresno office.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:Develop, design, and deliver occupational health and safety written policies, on-site training programs, and content for use by clients in both English and Spanish
Support clients in completing risk control assessments and implementing improvement plans designed to reduce total cost of risk
Partner with account teams to support client relationships and contribute to renewal strategy and service planning
Assist with sales and business development efforts through participation in webinars, articles, client presentations, and industry events
Support investigations into accidents and trends using root cause analysis techniques and help identify actionable prevention opportunities
Collaborate with account teams and clients to support carrier loss control site visits, client preparation activities, property reviews, and marketing report development for carrier submissions
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders to support ongoing service delivery and retention efforts
Manage assigned projects and client deliverables independently within established timelines and service expectations
Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English.
Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in risk control, occupational health and safety, or related disciplines, preferably supporting agricultural and/or construction industry clients.
Strong interest in developing long-term client relationships focused on injury prevention and property damage reduction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, including training delivery and presentation skills.
Ability to conduct training sessions in field environments for varying group sizes.
Ability to build collaborative working relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities and client service responsibilities.
Relevant certifications such as ASP, ARM, OHST, or other related certifications are preferred.
Degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental health, science, or related field is preferred.
Property and Casualty insurance industry experience is preferred.
Experience supporting client-facing consulting or service-based environments is preferred.
Valid CA driver’s license and vehicle for transportation to client locations
The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado, and New York at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $101,000 - $158,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position,” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
